Marguerite Bride

Marguerite Bride has worked in many areas during her life, as a Registered Nurse, as a software engineer and manager, and now as a professional artist. While she often kids about her 15 year attention span, art may just out last all the others. Exhibiting professionally since 2000, Bride works mostly in watercolors, capturing the surroundings, buildings and landscapes in her unique style. Her most frequent scenes include those of New England and Tuscany, with an emphasis on buildings and structures. Her images have appeared on the covers of many magazines and catalogs and her paintings are frequently featured in group and solo exhibits throughout New England.

Bride feels that the quality found in Museo fine art papers is beyond that of any other she has used in the past. "Fine art reproductions of my paintings made from high resolution scans comprise a major part of my business, and it is critical to me that a reproduction perfectly captures the colors and textures of my watercolors. I've found that the Museo Textured Rag (325 gsm) papers pair up perfectly with my Epson R1800 printer. In fact, once matted and framed, it is nearly impossible to distinguish between the original and the reproduction." Bride also creates fine art cards using Museo's line of panorama Artist Cards. "The cards print up so beautifully, I find that many people actually frame them instead of using them as note cards."
