After spending 20 years as a Commercial and Fine Art Photographer in the
Boston area, Marc has settled into the beautiful light of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
His current work has been focused on photographing the rich musical heritage
that is the heart and soul of New Orleans. After Katrina, Marc made note cards
of the music scene and sold them as a benefit for The New Orleans Musicians
Clinic. He has continued to sell his New Orleans images to benefit the clinic
and he continues to expand his documentation of this uniquely musical city.
“I have been extremely impressed with Museo’s Silver Rag Paper. The look
and feel of the paper lends itself well to my work. My style incorporates the use
of subtle tones to create a feeling response to the images. I worked for many
years in the darkroom, and have taught darkroom technique and fine art printing.
As a result of the high quality papers that Museo makes. I have been able to
successfully convert my technique from traditional darkroom to digital ink
printing without having to compromise.”
